Tank Covers
As part of the Clean Air Strategy, DEFRA have set a target of 2027 to cover all slurry storage in the UK, with the aim of reducing the harmful emissions, especially those from agriculture. The CenoTec (Sattler) tank covers reduce ammonia emissions by up to 90% and are ideal for retrofitting onto your existing tank or designing into a new build. CenoTec (Sattler) are the world’s leading manufacturer utilising their own fabrics manufactured in Greven, Germany and Utile have proudly represented them since 1991, making our relationship the most established in the market.

Simple but effective slurry tank covers to reduce emissions by up to 90% to meet the Clean Air Strategy target set by DEFRA.

Ground and Tank Mounted Gas Storage
As a more complete solution, we are able to offer a Sattler double membrane ground or tank mounted gas storage system. The benefit of this system is to increase your site gas storage capacity to enable smooth and trouble free operation of your gas consuming plant such as hot water boilers and CHP. We can also supply and install Sulphur nets on tank mounted installations to help capture and reduce the H2S content in the gas stream.

Gas Mixing Compressors & Systems
Utile are the forefront UK manufacturers of Gas Compressors and Mixing Systems for Anaerobic Digestion. Our systems are installed in Industrial, Municipal and Farm AD Plants mixing slurry/sludge in many different styles of tank, whether in a conventional Water Company digestion process or a more bespoke digester or linear plug flow system in Farm AD Plants.
We have full Solidworks design capabilities and are able to tailor our systems to match your process type and tank dimensions. Our range of Gas Compressors are manufactured and packaged in our Northamptonshire facility which is ideally suited to service AD Plants throughout the UK.
Sludge mixers can often be unreliable and expensive to service and run with high power absorbed. We are able to retrofit our Gas Mixing Compressors and diffused gas mixing systems within your existing tank to replace or supplement “sludge mixers” so as to increase gas yield and improve reliability. We also provide turnkey design, manufacture, install and ongoing maintenance for new tanks.

Gas Boosters
We manufacture and package in our Northamptonshire facility, our own range of EPS (ATEX) Compliant Gas Boosters for Biogas, Natural, Landfill and Synthetic Gas Applications. Most commonly used for overcoming pressure drops in filters & scrubbers, or raising the gas pressure from the digesters tanks or gas holders to feed the gas consuming plant such as Boiler burners, Waste Gas Burners or CHP. Our range includes single stage gas boosters for low pressure applications as well as multistage gas boosters for higher pressure lift requirements, often required on the CHP Engines or Filters/Scrubbers.
We offer a replacement service for your existing boosters where poor reliability or costly and long service periods are experienced, as well as for new applications.
